Training

Training is Tuesday’s and Thursday’s 4:30-6:00pm at Burrendah Park (opposite Southlands shopping center)

We have 3/4 coaches that run through a variety of drills and skills used in Athletics. Training is not mandatory; you can train both days or none at all.

  • High Jump, Long Jump, Sprints, Long Distance, Discus, Shot Put and Hurdles

Our coaches are all volunteers and each training will be different and focus on 3 or 4 different skills per session. We encourage any parents to help out if they can with the training sessions.

Come and try: We offer 2 come and try training sessions free prior to registering to see what it’s all about

Younger Athletes. It’s essential for parents to stick around for the age groups of U10 and below.
